After a full winter of testing these suits in Florida and Colorado all our testers agreed it was time to ditch their dry suits. In water between 49 and 65 degrees is where these suits seemed to perform the best and still be comfortable. Anything below 49 degrees we suggest using a dry suit. These suits are light weight, form fitting and have excellent performance. It's extremely easy to get out of the water because of less drag compared to dry suits and other conventional wet suits. We also noticed even though the suit is marketed as a wet suit they perform more like a dry suit. With all our tests 80% of the time the entire torso was dry and never absorbed water. This is because or the light weight open cell neoprene and it's waterproof characteristics. We noticed small amounts of leakage around the feet and hands which can be cured with rapping tape or rubber latex ankle and wrist bands. We also love how fast these suits dry, it's pretty incredible. No wonder so many people use them!
