Canada’s Miller Wins Nautique Big Dawg No. 2
The second stop of the 2018 Nautique Big Dawg World Tour, presented by O’Brien, was held Saturday and Sunday at Cedar Ridge Ski Club in Canton, Miss., with Canada’s David Miller winning over U.S. athlete Jeff Rodgers (Ninety Six, S.C.). After both skiers tied with scores of 5 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off in the head-to-head finals, Miller won the subsequent runoff with a score of 2-1/2 buoys at 39-1/2 feet off to Rodgers’ 3 buoys at 38 feet off. Miller also won stop No. 1 in May in West Palm Beach, Fla. Now in its 13th season, the Big Dawg World Tour includes four qualifying stops around the globe at premier water ski venues as the top 34-mph slalom skiers who are 35+ battle it out for a spot in the Big Dawg World Tour Finals.
Each stop includes two rounds of 34-mph slalom action, followed by a bracketed 16-skier head-to-head finale.

Stop #3 – June 30-July 1 at Seseña Waterski Complex, Sesena Toledo, Spain.
Stop #4 – Aug. 25-26 at Laku Landing, Windsor, Colo.
Finals – Sept. 8-9 at Lake JePaWhit in Gaines, Mich.
