Nautique Junior Moomba Begins Wednesday

Four U.S. water ski athletes will compete in the 43rd Nautique Junior Moomba Masters, Wednesday and Thursday, on the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia. Athletes will compete for titles in slalom, tricks, jumping and overall. A live webcast will be available at www.moombamasters.com.au. Live scoring will be available byclicking here. The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. (local time) both days. Melbourne is 16 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Standard Time.

U.S. athletes registered to compete are: Ali Garcia (Winter Garden, Fla.), Ryan Gay (Winter Garden, Fla.), Blaze Grubbs (Rio Linda, Calif.) and Garrett Reese (Walnut Creek, Calif.).

The Junior Moomba Masters determines its champions by the two-round scoring total.
